# Muterole
Sets up a role to be added to a user when he gets muted from the bot, this can also be created from Spike the first time a user gets muted, using default options\*.

On the role variable you can either specify a role by mentioning it or using its id. If the role is left blank and the server doesn't have a setted muterole Spike will ask if you want to created one using the default options\*.

Creating a default muterole can take up to 30 seconds, based on the amount of channels in the server, please be patient.

) and with those permissions removed form each channel (send messages, add reactions, connect)\
